Using Web Audio for Success

Free Adsense Webinar

It would be hard to argue against the fact that adding audio to a website increases your overall results. If you don’t have audio in your arsenal, you’re missing out. Adding it raises your opt-in conversions. And your sales. akrambank1.audiowiz.hop.clickbank Using Web Audio for Success

But why?

It’s not hard to figure out. The web is mostly silent. It makes your site more “human”. And makes people feel they’re dealing with a real person. Audio literally breathes life into your website. And people like to interact with things that are alive!

Some more benefits

Adding audio increases your profits in two ways. You’ll convert more visitors into buyers. And you’ll spend less getting those customers. You won’t have to hire someone to write your sales letter. You can just add your own audio. Your visitors will respond better to a heart-felt message from you than some fancy copywriting.

And you will increase your subscriber opt-in rate. Most people need to be led by the hand. So you make an audio recording that says: Fill in your name and email and click submit. A simple message like this will increase your opt-in conversions by 305% or more!

Some web audio ideas

A welcome message on your homepage. Most people abandon a website within just a few seconds. Your welcome message could make them stay when they would normally leave.

Step-by-step instructions. It’s the same as when you use audio to increase your subscribers. Use an audio message to lead your visitors through a process. Use this to lead them through the ordering process, as well.

Get testimonials for your services and products. It’s good to get written testimonials. But audio testimonials are great! It’s pretty easy to fake a written testimonial. Using audio makes it much more believable. And that increases your results.

Here’s a bonus tip

Something you may not have thought of is using audio for the product itself. This is by far the easiest content to produce. And it still has a high perceived value. Think about how popular podcast are. And you can get someone to transcribe them for very little money. This is the easiest way to “write” an eBook!

Is it hard to add audio?

It’s not hard at all. You can find a lot of programs that create audio buttons for you. The software does all the work. The program records and then converts the recording and generates an audio button. You just copy and paste into your website. So don’t let this stop you.

Summary

Just a reminder of why you want to start using audio. Setting up some web audio will do wonders for all your results. You’ll enjoy more customer sales. And your opt-in rate will increase. And you can use it to create products and sales letters quickly. You’ll be one of the few you use these strategies. But audio is a really big time and money saver. Don’t be lazy! Add some audio today. ;-)

Sneaky Affiliate Tricks

Free Adsense Webinar

Yes affiliate marketing rocks, but it’s really hard to get started. The reason is because there is a lot of competition. What you need to do is come up with methods no one else is using. There’s also a lot of information out there about how to do affiliate marketing, so it can be confusing. Here’s one trick that almost no one else is using.

Marketing with video

No one would deny the power and popularity of video. The reason it’s so pervasive is because everyone loves it. It’s so much easier to keep people’s attention with video. So using it in your affiliate promotions is a no-brainer!

Here are a few ideas for creating affiliate videos:

  • Testimonials
  • Do a video walk-through
  • Ordering
  • Sneak peak

Testimonials

This one is super simple. Just turn on your web cam and talk. It doesn’t have to be professional or polished. Just seeing another real person endorsing a product helps your viewers decide to buy. And the mess-ups or mistakes just make the video more real. So serious, just turn on the camera and talk. And if you don’t want to show your face, use one of the next ideas.

Record a walk-through

This is a great way to promote something without selling it. Basically you’re doing a tutorial on how to use the product. And while they watch you use it, they think, “I should buy that.” As long as the product is good, the tutorial makes them want it. So just make sure you’re demoing a good product.

Record the order process

This could be the most powerful method of all. Record yourself placing an order. Watching you make a live purchase will inspire your viewer like nothing else. First of all it’s what’s called “social proof”. Once they see you doing it, they feel more secure. It also build your viewers trust. People believe you’re giving them good advice if you take that advice yourself. And finally, it creates envy. It’s simple – you have it. Now they want it. You can add some extra punch to this by ending with: You’re gonna have to place your own order if you want to see the members area.

Do a preview video

This is a great way to build value. You do a tour of the members area. You show them the entire contents of what they get. And it helps soften the skeptics. It’s much easier to trust they’re getting something if they actually seen it.

It’s easy!

There’s no technical knowledge required. Anyone can create stunning videos with some easy-to-use software. Really, the software does all the work. So you don’t have to worry about the technical part of this at all. Just focus on the benefits:

  • More sales You will increase your affiliate sales when you start using videos. People love video, so please use them.
  • Less refunds You’ll lose less of the commission your earn. Thanks to you people know what’s inside before buying. So, very few of them will cancel their order.
  • Beat your competition! Adding video is so simple. But only a very small percentage do it. This puts you out in front of the rest.

Get started right now and take your affiliate marketing to the next level. The bottom line is that if you’re not using video, you’re losing money.

Email List Building Strategies

Free Adsense Webinar

If you’re going to be successful in internet marketing, you need to build a list. It’s the number one key to opening the success floodgates. Because you can market to your list whenever you want. It’s a resource you can tap at any time and generate income.

How’s how to build a list:

There are 3 factors in list building you need to consider:

  • The Squeeze Page
  • The Bribe
  • The Thank You Page

Your Landing Page Your opt-in page is the page you send visitors to to build your list. This page is the one that asks them for their email. This page needs to look professional. And have an easy to understand opt-in form. You’ve also got to make a strong “close”.

The biggest mistake you can make is not having a clear call to action. This “close” tells your visitors what you want them to do. Without this your opt-in rate will plummet. It’s strange, but if you don’t tell people what to do, they won’t do it.

One way to really spice up your squeeze page is to make it a video squeeze page. Adding video will help keep your visitors attention. It also allows you to tell them what to do several times. And after the video, you can make it just say “fill in the form now”.

If you don’t know how to make video, don’t worry. It’s very easy to hire people for a couple hundred bucks to make one for you. Or you can get email list tools that include video squeeze pages.

The Incentive – The second component is the reason they are opting into your list. You have to give people a compelling reason to give your their email. Email privacy is very important to most people. This means your bribe needs to be very attractive.

You have to provide value in your bribe for it to be good. That means you make it something people would actually want to receive. And will be able to actually benefit from it. It could be:

  • A report
  • Software
  • A video tutorial
  • An email training series

You’ve got to create some great content. It’s got to be something helpful for your new subscribers. And nothing sells like “free”. But to get the email, it’s got to be a good offer.

Once again, don’t worry if you don’t know how to create the freebie. Here again, you can hire freelancers to create this for you. Simply tell them what the topic is and they can write the content. A 5-part email series is a good freebie. You can have ghost writers create emails for under $25 an email. So, a great premium will cost you around $100 – $150.

You can also get email list building tools that include the premium. Two things to keep in mind when writing (or buying) and email training series. First of all it has to give the subscriber what you promised – valuable information. And second, it needs to make you money. Mixing some affiliate products into your email series is a great way to do this. Affiliate products are easy because you don’t have to do anything at all. And make money right away from your list.

The Thank You Page – The last bit is the thank you page. This is the page your subscriber sees after they opt in. It’s nice to give them some great content right away. This helps them feel they’ve made the right decision giving you their email. It also sets the foundation for your relationship with them. It also makes them more likely to open your emails.

Again, a simple solution to this is to get an email marketing package that includes everything. You can also put the whole thing together on your own. And do your own writing for this content. Or pay a freelancer to write the content for you.

Summing it up

It makes no difference whether you build your opt-in, bribe and thank you page. Or if you hire people to do this for you. Or go with a complete package. The important thing is that you build your own list starting now. Once you’ve got it built. You’re free to make money at the push of a button.

Affiliate Business Tips

Preselling for profit

The most important thing you can do to increase your affiliate commissions is to presell properly.

First, what is preselling? Preselling is both an art and a science. And it’s function is to prepare your reader to buy something. Then sending them to the product sales page to make the purchase. And if it’s done properly, the process is completely sub-conscious.

The gist is that you give your reader some useful information. Then send them to the sales page. We’ll get into how to do it correctly in a minute. Before we get into that, you should understand what’s in it for you. Some major benefits of this process:

  • It builds trust – Readers who trust you are more likely to click your links. And the more traffic you can send to the sale page, the more commissions you’ll earn.
  • Preselling is disarming – When you’re preselling vs. pitching, you’re reader doesn’t feel the need to be guarded. And in turn they read to understand what you’re saying. And your intention is conveyed more easily.
  • It puts them in a buying mood – Now they’re open to hearing what you’re telling them. And in turn, they’re open to other messages, as well. Like the info on product sales page you’ve linked to. Being open to a sales message is what it means being in a buying mood.
  • It increases your sales – You’ve prepped them and referred them in the right state of mind. With the guard down and trusting your recommendation. The only possible result is more sales!
  • It increases customer satisfaction – Your referral now feels like they decided to buy. Versus being pitched or convinced. And this leads to greater satisfaction with the product.
  • Your profits go up – A satisfied customer doesn’t ask for a refund. Less refunds means more affiliate money stays in your pocket.

The need to presell is clear. You increase your profits. And increase your customer satisfaction. It’s a win-win-win!

OK, so how do you do it?

OK, now you understand why it’s so important. And I hope you’re resolved to being preselling, too. So, let’s talk about how to make it work. Remember, there are two components – art and science.

Becoming an artist

The first step is in getting your readers to trust you and open up. Honestly, the only way to do this is to provide real value in you content. Now, providing enough info to be useful, but still making them want more – that’s the art of it. That is, they have to be wanting more when you refer them to the product sales page for the product you’re trying to sell. And because you’ve gained trust, they’re more receptive to the sales message and more likely to buy.

Scientific preselling

You also have to include some very specific things.

One of these key elements is the presentation of the information. You’ve got to map out your strategy before you start writing. Your end goal is to make a sale of the product you’re preselling. There are two ways to accomplish this with great content. The first method is to provide enough info to get them started, but not enough to finish. Or you can give them so much information that it feels overwhelming to do what you’re talking about. Either way, the product sales page solves the problem.

Next, you have to use “convert linking” methods. You have directly to the home page of the product. This increases your clicks. But how are you going to get credit for the sale, if you don’t include your affiliate link? There’s a trick to make this work… You use the “covert cookie” strategy.

Next, you want to make sure you’re linking on related words and phrases. Hyperlinked words are clicked more than anything else. And if the words you hyperlink relate, your reader will naturally click them for more information.

Using this system, you’re virtually guaranteed to increase your affiliate business success.

OK, here’s the not-so-good news:

Doing all of this right is really hard! Think about everything that goes into crafting an effective preselling article: Good content. First and foremost, you have to be able to write a great article that provides valuable information. This means you have to be able to write well, and have enough knowledge to be useful. Strategic writing. First, you have to give good information. You also have to present the info in a way that provides real value. And still leave them wanting more. Or make the information so overwhelming they realize they can’t do it on their own.

Picking products. You also need to determine what products you’ll be preselling. Even if you get the article written. Your efforts are completely wasted if you don’t pick a winning product.

Technical skills. To be most effective you have to use the “covert cookie” method. This is fairly simple – you use a 1 X 1 image and set the “source” to your affiliate link. (But if you do it wrong, you won’t get paid for the traffic you send.)

In closing:

Now you know what it takes to be a Presell Pro. And doing this increases your affiliate commissions by over 500%! The important thing is to use these techniques for everything you promote as an affiliate. Please don’t be lazy. The effort it takes is well worth the benefits…

Website Traffic Generation Tips

Free Adsense Webinar

If you’ve got traffic coming to your site, you’re 99% there. Of course you also need to have a valuable offer for your visitors – a reason for them to transact with you. After getting the traffic you just need to convert it into subscribers and customers . . . but that’s the easy part. So, the critical step is to generate a steady flow of visitors.

Here are some tips for generating website visitors:

Here are a few of the most popular way to get traffic to your site – for free:

  • Web 2.0 Methods
  • Article Websites
  • Video Marketing

OK, so how do they work?

Web 2.0

A Web 2.0 site gives its users the ability to interact with each other and create the site’s content together. The exciting thing about Web 2.0 sites is that you get to add your own content and it becomes part of these sites. Because these sites get so much traffic, Google and the other search engines treat these sites with greater importance in their algorithms. Which means the content on them gets “indexed” faster and with more weight. By placing links to your websites in this content you’ve created, you get traffic from the site and search engine ranking for the keywords you choose. This is the hidden benefit of using Web 2.0 sites. How to generate web 2.0 traffic is something we’ve only scratched the surface on. I don’t want to be exhaustive – I want to give you an overview of all the methods…

Article Websites

The next thing we want to talk about is article marketing. Article sites are in essence web 2.0 websites. In typical web 2.0 fashion, article sites rely on user-generated content (i.e. your articles). And because they are also considered authority sites by the search engines you get all the benefits of other web 2.0 sites just by putting your articles on them. And in addition to this, other users can take your article and place it on their own website. And because the terms of the directory say they have to include your “resource box” you get links back from all these other sites, too. If you want to generate traffic from articles follow these steps:

  • Figure out what keywords you want to go after
  • Write specifically to target these keywords
  • Use anchor text links in the article and the “resource box”

Video Sites

The last of this group is video marketing. Here to we’re really looking at a web 2.0 sub-category. And it carries all the same benefits of article marketing. The extra top secret benefit of video marketing is that it’s much easier to rank for competitive keywords than in any other medium.

Here are just a few video marketing tips:

  • Get a YouTube account
  • Make your profile uncluttered by turning off all the modules
  • Put relevant “tags” in your profile
  • Include a link to your main site in your profile
  • Add at least one video to your profile
  • Include your keywords in the title, description and tags

In closing…

If you want to get traffic to your site, then follow the advice in this article.

Membership Niche Selection Tips

Free Adsense Webinar

Let’s talk about niche selection. This is very important to ensuring the profitability of your membership website.

First – Look for Fanatics

The first step in developing a profitable membership business is to find a market with fanatics in it. Simply put, a fanatic is someone who’s willing to spend time and more importantly money on a topic they are interested in. OK, so we know what a fanatic is, but how do we find them?

  • Here’s something you may not have considered – magazines! We’re so internet-based these days, it’s easy to forget about them. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to run a print magazine. So if you see one on the shelves you know they are making money, which means that there are enough people interested in what they’re saying to make it profitable. That doesn’t mean definitely that it will make a good membership business, but it’s a good starting point.
  • Watch and listen for fanatics in your daily life. Pay attention to conversations, social events, TV, restaurants, public places to see what people are talking about. If people are talking about something, they probably want to know more about it. And this means there may be a market for information about it.
  • Conventions, clubs, and organizations. Once again, if there are enough people interested in a topic to create a club or organization, then there are enough people to build a membership business around it. Likewise, if there are enough people to hold a convention, there are definitely enough people to fill your membership website.
  • What about your interests and hobbies? There’s a good chance that others are interested in these things, as well. And, as an added bonus, it’s much more fun to build a business around things you’re interested in.
  • Another fantastic way to discover what people are interest in is Google Trends. Google Trends tells you the most popular current search terms. The reason people are searching Google for info on these topics is because they are interested. And the fact that it’s made it into Google Trends tells you LOTS of people are interested. These are the niches you want to be in – lots of people actively searching means lots of opportunity.

Next – Figure out if there’s money in it

After selecting a possible niche to build your membership site around, the next step is to find out if it’s a profitable niche to be in. The quickest way to find out is to determine if others are profiting in your potential niche.

Here’s a punch list for figuring out if anyone’s making money in your niche:

  • First go to Google and type in the name of your niche followed by “blog” and “forum”. If there are blogs and forums related to it, that’s a good sign. This lets you know there is a market (a group of people actively interested in the niche.)
  • See if other people are creating and selling product in this niche by searching in Google Shopping, ebay and Amazon. What you’re trying to figure out is if anyone is making money in this niche, and if people are selling products it means they are making money.
  • Monitor Google Adwords to determine if people are running the same ads for weeks in a row. If they are, this means they’re making money on these ads – otherwise, they’d stop running them. Which means there is money to be made in your niche.

Last, but not least… How hard will it be to break into this niche?

OK, so you found a hot topic and you know other people are making money on it. Will you be able to get involved and do the same? How do you gauge the ease of entry?

  • Product types. What kind of products are being sold in the niche? You’re looking for a niche that sells info products. The easiest membership website to create and maintain are information membership sites.
  • The last thing you want is a marketing filled with tons of competitors. A few means it’s a profitable niche, but too many means you won’t be able to take a piece of it.
  • Compare the size of the market versus the number of competitors. Some competition is a good sign – just make sure the market is big enough for you to join in.
  • How ready is the market for marketing messages, and how willing are the fanatics to buy. Some niches are made up of people who require lots information and have a very long lead time, and some markets are filled with people who will spend lots of money right now.

In Summary

OK, now that you’ve figured out what niche you’re going to go into. Determined there is money to be made and that the competition is not too strong to break into it. You’re ready to start your membership business. If you’ve followed along with these steps you’re success in practically guaranteed. The only thing left to cover is exactly how to run your membership business

Traffic is King, but this comes FIRST

Free Adsense Webinar

The best way to ensure your success is to build automated traffic sources to send you visitors day and night.

But, first…

Keyword research is really the first step in getting traffic to your website. Why? Because you have to target these keywords if you are to have any hope of actually generating traffic for them. This means it’s critical to select your keywords properly.

While doing your keyword research, keep the following in mind:

  • Are the keywords you’re interested in attainable? Take a look at the “strength” of others websites (and how many) are already targeting these keywords.
  • What kinds of visitors do these keywords bring? Certain keywords are good for generating a lot of visitors who don’t buy anything. This is not what you’re looking for.
  • Will these keywords bring affiliates? Nothing brings more buyers like an army of affiliates. So make sure you are also targeting keywords to attract affiliates.

Of course, this all takes time if you plan to do it yourself. Hiring someone else to do it costs a lot of money. The upside is that these two factors keep most everyone from even doing their keyword research. What I recommend is using website traffic software to save the time of doing it yourself and the money of hiring someone else. Using tools like this speed up the process and improve your results, too!

OK, now we can talk about traffic…

Now that you’ve completed your keyword research, you can begin using these keywords to get traffic to your website.

Here’s a short list of sneaky traffic techniques:

  • Most people overlook the power of Surveys!
  • “Traffic Traps”
  • Video Websites

Surveys

People love filling in surveys. And smart website owners know this, so they will include your survey on their site if you make a good one. And when they put your survey on their site, they will include a link back to your website. The beauty of this is that it generates website visitors for you with no work on your part. This is a sneaky little idea that most people never even think of. Just make the question interesting enough that people will want to share it with their own visitors.

“Help” Websites

These sites, like answers.yahoo.com are filled with people asking and answering questions for each other. However, you’re interest in these sites is not to ask and answer questions. You are going to generate traffic, leads and sales from them. Now, you can do this all by hand – visit a classified ads or answers site and one by one copy and paste contact info. So, if you’re smart, you’ll use website traffic software to do it all for you. This allows you to do the things in your business that can’t be automated and let the software just give you the leads.

Video

Another great resource is video sharing sites like YouTube. YouTube is one of the most highly traffic and search websites on the entire internet! If you’re not taking advantage of this rich source of website traffic, then you are really missing out.

You don’t have to be able to make awesome videos for this to work. It’s really easy to just start with an article or something you’ve already written. And use free screen capture software to record yourself reading it. I’ve even seen software that will automatically convert an article to a video!

In Closing

Figuring out how to get some visitors to your site is not hard at all. Use your noodle and come up with things other people aren’t doing. Plus, there’s lots of great software out there to help you.

Get started right away:

  • Step 1 is researching your keywords
  • Set up some viral surveys
  • Take advantage of the “help” sites
  • And don’t forget about video

Affiliate Marketing Secrets

Free Adsense Webinar

Learn Top Affiliate Secrets

One of the easiest and fastest way to earn a living online is through affiliate marketing. This is when you send visitors to someone else’s product sales page, they do all the hard work of making the sale and supporting the customer, and you earn at least a 50% commission

The benefits of this are

  1. You can get started really quickly because you don’t have to create a product, craft a sales letter, design the website, come up with support tools, or get a merchant account and CRM.
  2. There’s zero time investment on your part because the product owner does all the hard work of support, maintenance and billing.
  3. You have nearly zero risk because you already know the product sells, because the product owner has already done all the research , development and testing. So if you send visitors you will get paid.

Obviously affiliate marketing makes sense – these benefits make it a clear winner!

There is one major drawback…

Once you send your visitors to the product sales page, they are gone forever. Unfortunately, the majority of those visitors (at least 90%) will not buy on their first visit. And of the 10% or less that do buy, the product owner will be able to sell to them again, but you will not.

Is there are way around this?

It’s simple: You must get your visitors’ email addresses before you send them to the product owner’s website. This way you can follow up with them and keep sending them back to the sales page to increase your chances of making the sale. And if you want to do it like a pro, you’ll give them some great content before sending them to the sales page.

Here’s why you want to implement these affiliate marketing strategies:

  1. You’ll be building your own list of potential customers that you can market to again and again.
  2. You’re generating good will by giving them high-quality content. This way, they are much more likely to make a purchase when you send them to the sales page.

If you want to create an affiliate marketing system like this, you’ll need the following:

  1. A Video Squeeze Page (with video)
  2. At least a few pages of great content
  3. An email series with at least 5 high-quality content emails

The video squeeze page is where you’ll direct your traffic instead of directly to the product sales page. This page is where you collect your visitors’ contact info and add them to your autoresponder, which in turn starts sending them the multi-part email series. Once your visitors have been subscribed to your email series, they are sent to your content pages.

You content mini-site builds the good will, so that when you send them to the product sales page, they are in a buying mood. And at the same time, the email series begins following up with them to get them back to the sales page, in case they don’t buy on the first visit.

There’s no doubt that it’s worth the effort to put a system like this in place, because doing so will increase your profits by 500% or more. And after you get it all set up, it runs on total auto-pilot. You just refer people to your lead capture page, instead of the product sales page.

One option, if you’re not up to the challenge of setting this all up yourself, is to let someone like Affiliate Silver Bullet do it for you. These kinds of services will build the whole system for you and then just give you a video squeeze page (with video), pre-written emails, content pages, etc. On the plus side, you’ll save a ton of time and money vs. trying to build this yourself. Plus you can get started instantly. The downside is that other people will be using the same affiliate tools as you. But the internet is pretty big, so this isn’t much of a concern.

Another way to accomplish this is to hire “outsourcers” through a website like Elance to build and put your system together for you. The important thing is that you start using affiliate tools like the ones described here right now! Otherwise, you’re wasting your time and money.
