Why You Need A Mentor In Internet Marketing
Why You Need A Mentor In Internet Marketing?
The best way to learn properly is to get someone who is already an expert to teach you. Through using a mentor, I speed up the learning process and avoided a lot of the pitfalls, bad habits and mistakes many self taught internet marketers pick up along the way.
My mentor advised and guided me through my career as a internet marketer. He saved me a lot of trouble and made me aware of all the loopholes.
Whatever area of your life you want to develop in, it is important that you have a mentor. Whether this is in your career, your personal life, your business or your hobbies. A mentor can speed up the learning process and help you to become the expert and success you want to be.
So how do you find a mentor?
Well, you may know someone who is already an expert and could approach them and ask them. You could join forums on the Internet and find experts there (though check their credentials first). Search for websites of people in the area you want to learn from. You may find they have books to help you or even provide a one to one coaching service. You can also read biographies and auto-biographies of people you want to learn from and model them.
Sometimes you may have to pay a mentor, whether with money or through providing them some service or help. Other times people will be happy to mentor you for free just to help you out. When you become an expert you too may want to give something back and mentor other people.
A mentor will save you a lot of time and effort in the long run, and it is well worth your time and effort to find one to shorten your learning curve. Whatever area of your life you are working on, business, personal or pleasure, find yourself a mentor to help propel you forwards to the level of success you desire.

Hey Syed,
A mentor in this business in a definite must!
Like you say, this can save you a lot of time, energy and fustration in the long run. It is well worth spending the money out, and getting things going right from the start
Great post,
Paul
Hi Syed,
Great post-I wish that I would have realized WAY BACK that having a mentor was the ticket to success. So much time & effort was wasted before I found the right mentor to help me achieve the success that I desire. I truly believe that we are all destined for great things, having Alex as our mentor!
I wish you the best, Syed-take care,
Joann
Syed,
Yeah a mentor was never something I felt I needed, now its the only thing I seek.
And wouldn’t you know, after I started thinking that way people started asking me to mentor them for hundreds of dollars each and every month.
Great post… Thanks,
Rob
Syed
Great post, you really cannot underestimate the importance of having a mentor to help and guide you through some of the common pitfalls and to help with shortcuts on the path to success. I’m a fellow Alex Jeffreys student and cannot speak highly enough of our mentor and his program.
All the best
Tom
Syed:
Agreed – you know, in my mentoring with Alex I found that it can sometimes be better to have a mentor who is still growing himself rather than going with someone who is so far ahead that they’ve lost touch with how they actually did it.
Success in just about anything seems to blur the introspective view of how it actually came about.
Cheers,
Thomas
